Art journey:

From young age, I was inquisitive about drawings and paintings. My portrait drawings was applauded with prize in college.

The journey with Mysore traditional paintings started with training at Karnataka Chitra Kala Parishath. I have also been taught by elite artist, Raghavendra B B. My paintings were admired and were received with great response at Chitra Santhe, organised by Karnataka Chitra Kala Parishath.   I have participated and won at Myrusu Dasara Exhibition in years 2014, 2017 and 2018.

All of my work of art are inspired by Indian sculptures.

Statement:

All the Mysore traditional paintings have long and illustrious history. Use of pure gold leaves, intricate design highlights the paintings. The paintings are designed to inspire feeling of devotion and humility in the viewer.  I am happy to be associated with  Akanksha Women’s  Group .
