Krishnamurthy N, after Retirement as Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Bangalore, took up to art. He completed BFA and MFA from Mysore University through distant education under KSOU. He also took up training under Eminent Artists-Mr MG Doddamani and Dr M S Murthy.

He participated in the Group Exhibitions held at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in August 2011, September 2015 and 2017, and November 2019. He is an avid traveller and loves visiting various Galleries and Museums in particular all over the world. The various facets of art across the globe has brought in a vary vast and imaginative creative spirit in him. He loves to experiment with unusual materials to display his own way of interpreting art.
