An ardent believer in the concept of energies, Savitha Naidu’s works are deeply instinctive, reflecting her own nature. Process of creating art work is like a meditation for Savitha Naidu. In her own words – “My journey as a self taught artist – From my school days I had a passion for Sketching and Drawing. Every single element of the earth caught my attention. Blue Sky, Clouds, Water, Trees, Birds, Lush Green Woods, Flowers, Mountains, Morning Mist, Architecture and God’s picture on Calendar, to the point that I could not control myself from putting them on a paper. The love of art inside my heart was already on the edge and getting encrusted within the day after day. Getting outside is good for the soul. Through my artwork, I try to bring the outside in. Living with beautiful objects that pay tribute to the natural world reminds us to slow down and helps us reconnect with nature, which gives immense joy and contentment.”
When I start a painting, the process is like a baby taking shape and growing and achieving all worldly success and then understanding the purpose of life and realize only love is real and be soul conscious and then finally achieve the perfect painting. It gives me immense energy, positive vibes which can’t be described in words”.
