As a self- taught artist, Shobha Iyer has made her mark in the Dubai’s –art scape since the early 2000s.  Being a culturally diverse place, Dubai provided excellent opportunities to express herself in various Art venues and platforms.

She began her journey, doing oil on canvas learnt and mastered this art form to go on to learn other different forms of canvas and non-canvas art. As a passionate and driven artist, Shobha has earned various accolades and honors for her work in the field. Some of which include:

Currently, Shobha, is breaking ground, in the art scene, working on Kerela Murals, Mandala art and fabric art. Moreover, as an artist, she has now taken on the challenge to delve into representative art which involves recreating photographed images.
