Chitra Rao is a Bangalore based Engineering Manager having around 25 years of experience in the IT industry. She discovered that her true passion was being an artist where she could express her deep rooted emotions through colours.

She began her Art journey few years back at Chitrakala Parishath with a short term course. Subsequently she was very influenced by workshops conducted by eminent artist Eby Joseph Sir. She further expanded her knowldege under the guidance of Sir Madhav Vodnala on Graphite Realisim. She enjoys Water colour and Acrylic medium. Her art work has been displayed in well known exhibitions such as Art Can Care, Festival D Arte.

Recently she has developed a varied and a passionate interest in handcrafted Terracotta jewellery. She started her new business venture called Earthen Sepia.
