Being a science fiction writer, Space has obviously fascinated me. I have explored how Space, Time, Universe and Galaxy have been explained in Science and in ancient Hindu texts. Those thoughts have tried to find an outlet as abstracts. The Space Series is dedicated to all the mysteries and excitement Outer Space holds.
Modern scientific explanation for the beginning of the universe is uncannily similar to what is explained in the Nasadiya Sukta- the Hymn of creation- of the Rig Veda.
नासदासीन्नो सदासीत्तदानी नासीद्रजो नो व्योमा परो यत्,…
Then even nothingness was not, nor existence,
There was no air then, nor the heavens beyond it.
This mixed media abstract tries to put a physical form to that Sukta.
